2025.01.09 09:50 HoogalusSmoogalus Kinda Had An Idea
so, i started watching Death Battle in late 2024 for the first time (mainly because i didn't know it existed), and i was instantly in love. i watched new episodes, old episodes, unlisted episodes, and if i could somehow get a copy of deleted and/or privated episodes i would watch them too.
but i got the craziest idea. it all started with my biggest question yet: "who would win? Popeye or SpongeBob?", and that idea turned into a leaderboard or something similair.
basicaly i was thinking of a website that is community controlled, with all characters from Death Battle, and how would each one fair against eachother. every character would start off with the original fight (for example: SpongeBob vs. Aquaman, Batman vs. Iron Man, ect.), and they would move on to the character that has the most similarites (in terms of the Death Battle character combination formula (yes, that is a name i have made by myself because i don't know if it has an actual name. and yes, it is called the D.B.C.C.F. for short)). the leaderboard would go on untile every character had a unique number to their name.
i don't think that kind of leaderboard exists for Death Battle (unless i didn't do enough research), and while i would make the website myself, i really REALLY don't know how to code (let alone create a community controlled website). but if anyone who does know how to code whats to make it, please credit me for the idea :)
P.S. about that Popeye vs. SpongeBob, i think Popeye would win. he's got the strength to win over SpongeBob. and while SpongeBob has turned the entire universe into a string, said universe could still be repaired if he knew how to knit (and also SpongeBob was also turned to string in the process). Popeye has survived reality being turned off (1. a single reality can hold multiple universes 2. while SpongeBob's universe still existed in the form of string, Popeye's reality had no remains), and didn't even had a scratch (meanwhile SpongeBob had damage done to him, HE GOT TURNED INTO STRING BY PATRICK!!! (so i quess Patrick is stronger than SpongeBob, huh))

2025.01.09 09:50 coko_knight I’m unlikeable even to myself, posting this for any attention that can make me feel significant.
14m been homeschooled my whole life, so I usually only had 1 or 2 friends that weren’t even that close my whole life. Right now my social life has probably peaked by having 2 shallow friends and one friend who I talk to once every 3 months. I’m pretty quiet when I first meet people, but then don’t know how to balance becoming more comfortable around them. Sometimes I feel like I’m being too much of myself ( which is a weirdo) when I know people a little better. And there is nothing wrong with being a bit weird, especially if u can’t help it, but I suppose one must pay the consequences for it.
Also, I’m in community college talking with a bunch of strange people (I have no problem with them) that also make the way I socialize a bit off when talking to other kids. Tbh, I prefer talking to the 20 year old in college algebra who listens to wierd music or the 40 year old veteran who failed the class, leaving before the last test because he knew he couldn’t pass.
In return for my lack of social life I turn to discord and Reddit. On my last Reddit account I got banned for impersonating a girl for attention. And I got a 1 day mute on a discord server so I evaded it by making a new account and got a lifetime ban because I was so hungry in the moment just to talk to someone (fuck you turtl (the mod)). I also was big into yt live chats to get some dopamine from that. When u see that guy spamming in some chat and u ask urself who that is, it’s someone like me, who that shitty excuse for socializing is everything for them because they are so hungry for any piece of shit they can get their hands on.
Also, not to sound like an edgy teenager, but my path through Dostoyevskys books didn’t help me at all. And especially not Dawkins. Before I ran into him I had the idea that everyone is 100% selfish all the time, and that it is ingrained in us, we can’t help it. I am still in that belief system. I used to go to church, but I turned from god and became aimless. This made me just bitter.
Before I go into further details which will get off topic, I will end here.

Hey guys, been enjoying the hell out of this game and escaped many attempts so far but I just can’t help but feel that certain build for the Stygian blade don’t work with Styx Temple.
I feel like I’m taking insane damage there, I’m running the usual Nemesis with Aphro/Arte stuff with Athena for deflection and Dio dash to add extra damage. The only build for I can run around Styx without worry is Aphro/Arte with Poseidon dash. I’m just trying to build with different play style every time but it just feels like I’m taking so much damage in Styx.
