Howdy fellow fans of Saga!
I'd recently reread the series and this time around was curious to understand the spoken Blue language, versus just trying to infer contextually what was being said as in my previous read through.
Turns out Blue is actually Esperanto (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto) which is why some words are relatively similar and easier to understand. From there, I was going to simply use a Google translate as I read...

Apologies if this has been posted before. I only discovered Saga last year; quickly read the Compendium, TPB volumes 10 & 11, and was caught up for monthly issues. Quickly this became my absolute favorite book. For Christmas, I got the 1-9 TPB box and reread from the beginning, all the way up to #71.

Based in Massachusetts.
My husband was laid off today and I'm 36 weeks pregnant. The company is keeping him onboard 4 days after my expected due date, but who knows when he is going to have to stop working (because our child can be born at anytime). He has already filled the paperwork for his bonding leave with the state of Massachusetts. They were going to cover his bonding leave (12 weeks) at full pay, but they are no longer offering this since he is getting laid off. He was a FT salaried employee.
Do you think we have a legal case to get them to pay for his full 12 weeks of bonding time plus still give him the severance?
I'm confused about the rules with FMLA and unemployment, he can't claim both (right?!) so which should he choose because based on earnings he would receive the maximum benefit? I read that even though he was laid off he should still be eligible for FMLA, but I don't want to infringe up on his ability to file for unemployment since he may be out of work for awhile (the job market is slow for his industry).
