Like I said things are moving in my house. Deodorant, bottles of fabric softener. 10 minutes ago a AA batterie that i use for my Xbox just rolled off my kitchen table all by itself. When I just got my dog she would bark to things that are not here. It’s not only this house. When I lived somewhere else with my ex girlfriend, one time we where laying In bed watching a show and the bedroom light on her side would go on and off in a very fast speed. Same story with light was once with a good friend that I had at the time. We where listening to a song about a mother that tells her son to do good in life. My friend that saw the light switch on and off at that moment cried instant and was scared. For me it felt like a warm feeling in my hart. My mom died when I was 17 years old and am 25 years now.

An interesting topic, and no I do not have a criminal record. Someone posted about this recently and it got me thinking.
Has anyone got any experiences to share?
-Do you know someone who has worked in corporate with a CR?
-Do you know of any companies (no need to name them) that have had low or no requirements for background/CR checks?
-Why do you think processes at some place are more relaxed?
Speaking from my own personal experiences, a few companies I have worked for did not do criminal history checks (some of these were quite big companies, too). The positions were generally entry-level or mid-level full-time permanent roles.
Having said this, it was probably over 5 years ago and things may have changed.
The word "criminal record" is confusing because the definition varies. If you work in certain occupations, a charge that is discontinued or results in a not guilty verdict still shows up on enhanced searches. For normal 9-5 corporate roles, a conviction that is not recorded does not form part of your criminal record, except for specific purposes eg sentencing for another offence, certain occupational work.
A conviction that is recorded will show up on a criminal history check.
Interestingly, if someone has a unique name and their criminal history check is delayed, this often means they have a pending charge or a non-recorded conviction. Perhaps this is not intentional, but I believe this is how employers can tell if you have been to court even if you are not convicted. The reason given for the delay is often because of matching names, but if their name is unique it makes it less likely. I think the system "halts" if it sees anything (even if it is just a charge), and then it has to be manually reviewed (in the case of non-recorded convictions, nothing will show up, but the result will take time as it has to go through manual processing).

I don't want Millie to keep the pregnancy (which fun fact by the way, ya'll are allowed to have opinions on that because she's not real) but I don't think that would be a guaranteed killing blow to the show. For one thing this is a baby we're talkin about, they're basically derpy little monkey creatures (I mean that affectionately. But seriously, babies are the easiest way to tell humans evolved from primates) and there's not exactly a wealth of ways to characterize them, so the amount of shit that could go wrong here is actually pretty limited unless we get a Stewie Griffin clone (which would never happen because if it did it would ruin the show). To me the best case scenarios would be something like Maggie Simpson or Jakjak Parr, they're funny and derpy like babies are in real life but they don't cry all the god damn minute like babies in real life. The worst case scenario would be that the baby ruins sections of episodes with its obnoxious god damn crying (a thing I don't think would be all that likely and even if it did happen there'd be enough complaining for it to be toned down). The medium case scenario is AN episode dedicated to the baby being loud and annoying. And a scenario that could be GLORIOUS and set a new standard if it worked would be if as a gimmick there could be AN episode about trying to firgure out how to get the baby to stop crying so much that thankfully doesn't make the viewer's ears want to commit suicide because it could be presented as a style parody of silent film which would mean no crying sounds! https://youtu.be/3GwjfUFyY6M?si=E9TW_juPy0njo3O4
In conclusion I'm not worried about the baby wrecking the whole show. The worst it can do is wreck a few episodes until getting retooled to not do that, and I don't even think the baby's likely do THAT much damage even. So while I'd prefer that Moxxie and Millie don't have a kid, I don't think it'd ruin the show.

2025.01.31 01:49 Big_Art1315 Very weird, specific question regarding my foster puppy, Comet. Please help!
 | I’m the owner of 2 great dogs and 2 great cats. Animals are my world. 10 years vet tech experience, though a work in people medicine now. Due to community need, I took in a foster dog 1.5 months ago. Not much movement on his adoptions, and within 2 weeks of fostering he was EXTREMELY attached to me. We were hoping to just keep him- but I’m worried about some recent behavior. Comet (pictured here in white) is 10 months old. History of neglect from previous owners who returned him to Humane Society, but he came straight to my house. Basically, he’d been left in a crate all day while owners were working. He’s stained from laying in his own urine- despite being 80% house trained when he came to me (rare midnight poop accidents). He is now 100% potty trained and is never crated- he will flip if he’s confined. It isn’t safe. Luckily, I work from home and he isn’t really destructive. Doesn’t need to be crated. He GREAT with toddlers, very gently and patient. Good listener. We are working on “no bite” as he play bites when excited. He gets walked but not much recently due to cold weather- it’s getting better. He is also learning not to chase cats. My black lab pictured in Luna. She’s almost 10 and is my best friend. She’s very attached to me. She, Comet, and one of my black cats sleep in bed with me. All have gotten along fairly well- until recently. Last couple of days, out of no where, I’m catching him nipping and growling at my lab and it’s MEAN. He only does it in bed, and only when he is terribly sleepy. I took it as resource guarding- be the weird thing is that he cuddles my lab so affectionately, and then nips if she tries to move, or even if she just twitches in her sleep! It’s weird. He dies to just be close to her, and she’s an angel and allows it- but he’s suddenly growling and nipping very suddenly if she moves her tail, feet, or adjusts. My reading of his body language is not that this is dominance. He is submissive anyway. They play well together. He accepts the other dogs boundaries. I have a chihuahua that frequently resource guards toys and the air she breathes- he does not seem to mind. My reading tells me that this is fear. So I started racking my brain on what he could possibly scared of. It just hit me- a few times recently, he has adjusted in his sleep and my cat has lost it on him for getting to close, as most cats do. Hissing and batting at him. It scares him, scares me even, but he moves a bit, and everyone goes back to bed. Could this be some sort of weird, hyper vigilant learned behavior from cat? This would be the only negative experience I know of in the bed. I’m trying to console them both rather than ban him from me or Luna or the bed. I want to handle it the right way. I’m just nervous because this behavior makes my lab terribly sad. She just survived a very close call emergency with internal bleeding, and though she’s totally healthy now, I’ll rehome this foster if I can’t get this behavior to improve. She doesn’t deserve that, and we have a second chance. I really love them both. Ok there is my soap opera. Im replacing an oven thermostat on a Vulcan Hart E36L the part number is 00-411506-00014 where i have looked its out of stock for my area or its pretty pricey but i have found 00-411506-00015 in stock and cheaper. Im wondering if anyone knows if the second one would be compatible with my oven. Also in the parts manual for the hotplate thermostat it list this part number 00-411506-00006 but when i click the link it takes me to the page for the oven thermostat 00-411506-00014. could i just buy 2 00-411506-00015 thermostats so i can replace both the oven and the hot top (for reference im using the partstown.com parts list for the E36L)
