2025.01.02 16:12 CaosMaker96 70 hours of playtime gone after a crash... can anyone please share his files?
Stalkers I need your help, yesterday I was playing and the game crashed, relaunched and I had no saves.
I know that there are some fixes I could have done, but the problem is that as I launched the game again the xbox app asked me if I wanted to use the cloud saves or the more recent local saves, and I selected local, this way I uploaded my saves directory to the cloud, and it is empty, so I cannot do the new game and replace file trick. I also tried MiniTool Power data recovery with no success.
If someone has another solution you're wellcome, but as of now I had no luck.
Last save I have is from my legion go, 15 hours in, and as before loosing everything I just finished some long missions like the one you go to clear sky (please I don't want to cross the swamps again😓 ) it would really suck if I have to do it again.
For reference here is were I was with the main story: I just took the emitter to the chemical plant (sided with ward) and I begun the "Assault on the Duga" mission. I already saved zalissya from the attack.
Items and money are not important as I can take them back with commands
Please if you have a save from that mission share it, here's how to do it:

The recipe book isn't an actual book (it doesn't take up an inventory slot or drop when you die). That means your character is just memorizing all the recipes! It's unrealistic that you'll always remember the recipe for everything (CaptainSparklez) so Missourijang should make it so that every day you have a small chance to forget a random recipe. This will reward players who don't use the recipe book by not affecting them.

I'm interested in getting rid of VMware at my company and have been looking to move to Proxmox which I know fairly well. Probably the easiest way to convert my VMs is to back them up with Veeam (already been using it for years) and restoring on Proxmox.
One question I have that I haven't seen answered anywhere (apologies if this is an easy one), but if I back up a thin-provisioned VMware vm and restore it to a Proxmox LVM-Thin storage, will the resulting vm disks be thin or thick? I thought I had read that they would end up thick and I would really rather that didn't happen as my storage is over-provisioned.

from what i understand, when you roll a new shop, the units that it offers are weighted based on how many are in the pool. at tavern t6, t6 units are still the rarest because there are fewer total t6 units and fewer copies per unit. a unit doesn't need to be completely depleted from the pool for its appearance to be reduced. and the inverse is true for tavern spells, their pool sizes go up as tiers do, so you see more higher tier spells in higher tier shops.
- is this also true for discover? what i mean is that if there are 3 t1 units, 3 t3 units, and 3 t5 units as possible discovery options, is it weighted toward showing t1 options (assuming there are more of them in the pool) or will it show t1, t3, and t5 evenly?
- if there's 1 brann left in the pool and 5 barons, is baron 5x as likely to appear from 'discover a t5'?
- is this true for other random generation as well? is that why it feels like eudora is weighted toward t1 goldens and tavern tempest felt worse when sellemental moved to t2, because they respect the pool?

There was a discussion on some FB group about "why don't they run more tournaments like [this] instead of always running tournaments like [that]... and it got me thinking, why DO people organize tournaments? I never ran one, and rarely enter them, so I don't know for sure.
